We support students who wish to develop and improve their writing skills and abilities in the foreign language. Our focus is on individuals who write an academic paper in German or English as a second or foreign language. Our goal is to create an atmosphere in which writers can work productively and thus improve their writing techniques. The long-term learning process of the writers is the focus of our work. We work collaboratively with students, provide advice and support and thus encourage reflection on individual work processes. All communication with the International Writing Team (interWRITE) is confidential.

As of the winter semester 21/22, the English team of the LLC will be offering a very limited number of writing consultations. Please go to the StudIP course "Writing Consultation in English" for further information, contacts and registration.

What we offer:
- Individual writing consultations in every phase of the writing process - from the task to the delivery (by appointment)
- Support in understanding the writing task
- Support in applying the faculty-specific guidelines for scientific writing In English or German
- Workshops on various topics - from individual aspects of scientific writing to general introductions
- Print and online resources (e.g. handouts, corpus and text mining tools)
What we expect from you:
- Active participation in the respective writing consultation session - you decide on changes in your text & implement them independently. We do not correct the text for you.
- Making an appointment in good advance - Please contact us in advance to make an appointment; not just shortly before submission.
