DSH - German Language Examination for University Admission

The DSH examination („Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang“ – German Language Examination for University Admission) tests the German language proficiency of foreigners applying to German universities.

Requirement: At least B2 level

The DSH examination is at a B2/C1-level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). To take part in the DSH examination, you should have at least completed the B2-level. The examination fee is 190 Euro.

The Leibniz University's Language Centre (LLC) is one of the largest testing facilities for the DSH examination in Germany and a leader in quality and service. The German Language Examination for University Admission is designed, conducted and assessed by our own staff.

DSH registration for applicants from Leibniz University Hannover

Applicants from Leibniz University Hannover with preliminary admission have the option for priority registration.

DSH registration for external applicants

External applicants have the option to apply for the lottery of spots.
