Scientific Writing with Kod.ING

With Kod.ING a tool is made available, which offers students, doctorals as well as scientists of the Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH) of the three faculties Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science as well as Mechanical Engineering the possibility with certain search functions to generate subject specific writing patterns, so to speak the "language to the subject". In doing so, an ever-growing collection of dissertations in German and English is accessed. The development of Kod.ING has its roots in the Centre for Applied Linguistics and Special Languages (FSZ: Fachsprachenzentrum), where the five-person "Team Internationales Schreiben/interWRITE" advises on the scientific writing process.
